Ew. This book was so bad and absolutely unnecessary. There is no story in it. Literally nothing happens, it doesn´t add anything to the series. But the people bought it and that was unfortunatelly probably the only reason why this was ever published. As a money grab. SJM should think more about quality than quantity, because it seems like pushing out two books per year is too much for her.

I přesto, že je tahle novela vlastně zbytečná, se mi docela líbila. Po slabším ACOWARu jsem čekala něco nového, ne další sex Feysanda, ale... Kdyby tahle novela byla kratší a byla jen o oslavách, tak by to bylo super. Anyways, začínám být na přehršel toho sexu alergická, a to Feysanda miluju... Nesta mi leze neskutečně na nervy a Cassiana a Amren mám ráda, jen pokud jednají samostatně. Jedno pozitivum Acofasu? Tamlin a to, jak skončil. Smála jsem se od začátku do konce. #stillhatingyou

Kdybych tuhle novelu četla hned po třetím díle, asi bych jela na zklamané vlně, takhle mi to ale krásně připomnělo, co se dělo a to se mi skvěle hodí :)
Otevírá se tu taky mnoho budoucích linek a je škoda, že se jen tak naťukávají... ale chápu, že to zde nebylo autorčinou prioritou, jen si pak říkám, jestli občas nebyly tyhle linky až zbytečné.

Stejne me porad nejvic rozciluje, ze ceska verze neobsahuje upoutavku na 4., tak jako ta anglicka. To je proste totalni WTF!? takze mam tenhle dil jak v cestine, tak anglictine a tohle za me teda coo-boo poradne po***lo. To jen tak na okraj.

Pokud k této knize pristupujete jako k vánočnímu dárku, kdy jste radi, ze mate v ruce dalsi kus ze sveta Feyre a Rhysanda, budete nadseni. Pokud od ni cekate neco stejneho jako byly predchozi dily, budete zklamani.

Re-read in 2021
This wasn't a proper book with a story which I expected. It is more excerpts from different points of view- we get to see Feyre, Rhys, Mor, Nesta, Cassian POVs. We get to celebrate Winter Solstice with everyone.
I loved returning to Velaris and finding out what happened with Rhys and Feyre after the ACOWAR. You could also feel that the focus will be shifting towards different characters and Rhys and Feyre will have their happy life. I was happy to find out small details about life ...more

Kniha je síce na pomery autorky celkom útla, no zato je pretkaná humorom, dobrou, ale ja pochmúrnou náladou, erotickými scénami a Rhysom :D. Dej v knihe je v podstate uvoľnený, nečakajte žiadnu akciu ani napätie. Kniha sa hodí na terajšie dlhé zimné večery, poprípade ako skvelý relax po dlhej a namáhavej práci.
