I really enjoyed these stories. The writing is tight and smooth, and each story captivated me with its different characters, its different voice, and left me satisfied at the end. “Food for Love” is filled with quirky, amusing dialogue and portrays a man I would love to meet. “Missing the Bus” has one of the best sex scenes I’ve ever read. “The Big Four-O” seemed a bit wacky, but came together great. Love. It's in air, or so the old songs say.

Delight in Four Seasons

A delightful collection of four romantic cameos: the reader is surprised by Gardner's originality, delighted with the wit, wooed by the charm of each story and, most essentially, moved emotionally. In at least one case the being charmed by the story is wickedly deceptive; in another it's pleasurably satisfying.

Romance in Four Seasons is a series of four related works held loosely together by the meddlesome doings of Destiny. 'Bus Stop', will have you stretching your mouth in a smile; 'The Big Four-O', will make you feel sympathy for the poor male race; 'Checkout', will keep the secret of its muddled romance hidden till the end; and, 'Ideal Match', will have you looking at your partner in a new light.
