How does one even begin to relate this epic tail without making this sound like every other Redwall tale? You'll just have to take my word when I say everyone should pick this book up and give it the read it deserves. Martin the Warrior is the sixth installment in the Redwall series and mainly focuses on Martin and his story of becoming the renown warrior we have all heard epic tails about.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Brian Jacques' Redwall series? These books are amazing, and _Martin the Warrior_ was no different. On my second readthrough (the first being in middle school) I noticed that when compared with others novels of the series written about the same time, this one lacks. Nothing major is missing, but Jacques' voice seemed distant, almost as if it really were Aubrieta authoring the story instead of him. I still attained the nostalgic feel I get when re
