I can't remember ever having read a worse book.
I was optimistic about this Brian Herbert / Kevin Anderson Dune prequel, and though I knew full well going in how controversial their Dune books have been, it proved difficult to sort through the controversy to see whether I should read the Legends trilogy or pass it by. I don't know where all these bad reviews are coming from. I almost haven't been able to stop reading. I find the origins of the Dune characters & universe we already know very intriguing.
