Very easy reading. It is a poignant tale & it shows the build-up effect that can lead to a major cataclysm. I can believe that a teenager would think this way, internalising & self-centred, & wondering why no one can see their pain. Why should I have to tell anyone, they should be able to see how I'm feeling.

Not sure how I feel about this YA novel about teenage suicide. I am trying to think of it from a YA's point of view, but it didn't do much for me. I was a teacher and H/S principal with lots of problem students, but the main character still didn't ring true to me???? The format was interesting, and that is actually what bound me to finishing it.

This had good points about how our actions can affect those around us who are fighting tough battles....but the girl is a little melodramatic and she tells us why she is doing the things she is doing like she is a certified psychologist. She probably ruined the life of all those around her when she committed suicide and left those tapes so they all could feel so guilty and probably do something they would regret also. Not a win win situation.

One of the most tragically beautiful books I've read in a long time... I wish I could say something else without gushing about how mush it spoke to me... Just read it. That is all
