The main character was completely unlikable but I liked the ride of seeing what crazy thing she was going to do next. This book was also satire about social media and the publishing industry and I felt that I learned a lot about both since I'm not involved in either world. I liked this more than Babel, which is the only other one I had read by her.

I was really, really into this. I couldn't put it down, as if I couldn't control myself. It really was a unhinged take on the publishing industry, with a protagonist unlikable and a riveting plot.

Very interesting! I hope the publishing world and the world that a writer has to navigate isn't this fraught with negativity. But I loved the story. People these days have too much time on their hands! Just read the book and be entertained!
