What Members Thought
This was such a relaxing cozy read with likable characters. The world building is unique in its fantasy elements and I enjoyed seeing how Keila and her sidekick Caz would end up with their found family.
The author wrote this as an enchanting and kind escape for readers, and she has accomplished that in spades! Awkward librarian and her talking spider plant companion flee from a burning library and return to an island home the librarian barely remembers. There, she meets awkward merhorse herder, and sparks fly...quite awkwardly of course.

Really cute romance!! Very cozy!! I just enjoy a cozy mystery more than a cozy romance.
