OMG!! I did not know what to expect when I picked up this book. This is my first book by Colleen Hoover and I enjoyed this book a lot. I could not put this book down! I kepts stopping to do something and then came right back to start reading it.

This book was had so many emotions in it. You have Lowen who is a struggling writer, that just lost her mother. Lowen has some issues, she doesn't like publicity, she has so much self doubt and she cannot take compliments. Then you have Jeremy Crawford wh ...more

This book is thriller/suspense but I’d say more like soft porn. Blech! I didn’t expect that and honestly don’t know if it was needed because I was definitely hooked based on the thriller aspect. I couldn’t wait to see what happened and was slightly creeped out while doing so. Plowed through this at record speed to find out what happened so that makes it a good read!

Extremely disturbing, but wildly riveting read. It's brilliant. The story lingers long after you close the book. There were also certain chilling moments I was afraid to turn the page. Not usually a fan of Hoover's romances, so I'm quite impressed with this. ...more
