I’m giving this 5 stars for the genre that it is; this is no great work of literature, but this is an excellent “thriller.” Riley Sager is perhaps my favorite of the thriller writers I’ve encountered since I embarked upon this genre a year ago. I still can’t believe how well he writes his women characters. I want to be their friends.

I loved Home Before Dark so much I thought I'd get into this. Fourth chapter in, and I'm so bored. The characters are dull. The voice is stiff. Too bad, because the concept sounded 🔥 ...more
