What Members Thought
Living in the desert southwest, you are reminded of Native American history on a daily basis...but it's often easy to stop looking past the touristy pieces of daily life. One of the reasons I read and love non-fiction is for these reminders of what has passed and what we should have learned from, especially when it's so easy for us to isolate ourselves in today's day and age.

I never do well with non-fiction books, but I thought the case was an intriguing one. I learned a lot about what the government did to Native Americans (ex. guardians, libel in the newspapers), since American history classes don't teach these things. This case was super jacked up and, while I didn't find the reveal to be that exciting, I was interested in seeing what the outcome would be.
