What Members Thought
I loved this book. Even though I own a hard copy of this, I chose to listen to this and the narrator was fabulous. This is my third book by this author that I have enjoyed. I was a little nervous, even though the premise sounded good, because I had no luck with Beartown. I tried to get into that book twice before I gave up on it! This one though had me hooked from the beginning. I loved the characters, their different voices and not knowing what was really happening or what was going to happen.

It took me a while to start enjoying the story. The writing sounded very Hansel-and-Gretelish, by which I mean a children book you read to the kids you've been assigned to take care of at a cold winter night. Half way through the book, I started relating to the characters and seeing myself inside the scene. I liked it, and I can see why this book been getting so much attention.
