What Members Thought

Ann
A tough book to describe, not one I particularly liked, a potentially interesting premise, and I did finish it - only because it was a group read and the discussions added dimension.

This book was like watching someone put together a 10,000 piece puzzle. It was beautiful to see everything fall together spectacularly. But the puzzle itself, was just a bland beige picture. You don’t care about a single character. It’s 100% about the puzzle. And that carries it to a certain extent because of how beautifully that part is done. But ultimately I’m just disappointed because I see so much more potential that it didn’t live up to.
