What Members Thought
I like how all the stories intertwined together at the end, but it was really hard to follow. I did this book on audio and I am not really sure what list I found the recommendation on, but at some points of the story it was hard to follow or just completely uninteresting.

While a bit long -winded at times, a lush magical journey full of the unexpected, the speculative, and the mysterious. The story is populated by a large cast of diverse characters that never gets confusing. A stunning modern fairytale about family and the stories that surround us.

Stories and storytellers are woven throughout this marvelous tale; multiple layers of a tale that takes place along a river. The river sustains a simple village, in a time where photographers might travel and medical help was likely a knowledgeable neighbor.
