What Members Thought
I did not enjoy this book. It was the first book that I have read of Liane Moriarty’s and it appears I made a poor selection, as I have heard great things about her other books. This book had a multitude of characters that meandered around with not much happening. I found it boring and really struggled to finish it.
Moriarty brilliantly crafts a tale where nine strangers, due to circumstances, become friends. Under the deception of a blissful retreat, the stay is anything but perfect. Will they survive the treatment or better off taking a chance on civilization?
Eh. It's okay. I think there were too many characters to tell the stories properly but I liked it overall. It's a good summer read but not much more.
