This was an absolutely amazing novel that has secured it's place among my all time favorite novels. I would definitely recommend this as a must-read! Bronte does an excellent job mixing a gothic mystery with a passionate love story. Where other "classical romances" may become slow or insipid, this one pulls you into the story and makes you a part of the intense emotions that are swirling around. I definitely didn't see "the big reveal" coming, and thought it incredibly clever. The character deve ...more
