The only complaint that I have is that it was a tiny bit “preachy” in just a few spots.... far more than a teen would be, so for me a little authenticity was lost.
Otherwise I have nothing but praise for this book! I had goosebumps at the end of the book it was so good! I have no problem shelving this next to Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird and Willa Cather’s My Antonia at home as I’d predict this novel will become a modern classic.

I picked up this book more excited about seeing the movie. But after reading it. I found I could not put it down. Such a good telling of our times
