Shelves: audiobook, mystery

I loved the mystery in Girl on the Train but it was a chore to finish the book because I didn't care two cents about the characters. THIS story was much more interesting once I adjusted to all of the different POVs. Even in listening to the audiobook with a full cast, their voices were often too much alike to make a difference.

As far as the mystery is concerned, I figured it out --- for the most part, there was a slight twist that was unexpected and she certainly sends you on false signals. But ...more

First: This is so much better than The Girl on the Train.
Second: Wow...now I have a book hangover and will have trouble finding the next good read. This is one of those can't put down until you get to the end books. The kind of story that pulls you in and has you up into all hours of the morning turning page after page to see what happens next.
Why not 5 stars? Well, I'd actually give it 4.5 if I could. There are just so many characters. I found it difficult to keep them all straight. Especially ...more
