Moriarty is one of those authors who are generally adored by everyone... except me. She is in good company though- Steven King, F Scott Fitzgerald, & Daphne Du Maurier evoke similar feeling for me. Maybe I need to give her another chance as I still occasionally try to cultivate an appreciation for King. Big Little Lies is the only other Moriarty book that I’ve read (wasn’t very impressed and didn’t see what the fuss was about) and I much prefer this title.

Fantastic read! Caught me from the first fall, pun intended. Alice has fainted in spin class causing her to fall over and incur a head injury. Unconscious, her return is marked by a 10 year memory gap. She believes she is 29 and pregnant with her first child but is actually 39 and has had 3. In addition, she is separated from her husband nick as they are in the midst of divorce planning.
