I don't know if I would have read this on my own, but since it was my book club pick, I read it. I'm so glad I did. It's beautifully written and from the very beginning I was hooked. The characters came alive in the stories through out the book. I cried with them, laughed with them, and at times wished I was friends with them. I highly recommend this book. ...more
