I was very disappointed in this, the author's third book. There were glimpses of the style he exhibited in his earlier books but generally I found the book to be formulaic and contrived, lacking the pleasant little twists of his earlier work. At times the book was downright annoying. I hope his next book is better, I'd hate to delegate Hosseini to that shelf of authors under the heading of "two book wonder." ...more
