The book's illustrations only have girls and are depicted in diverse ways. Although it does not include boys and adults, the book shows a reflection of self-acceptance, love, respecting others, and being kind to one another. I thought this was a great book. It talks about learning how to accept oneself. We might look different but we are also alike in many ways. I really enjoyed the diversity in the book as well. Definitely a book that I would include in my classroom library and read to the class.
