This book was a story about a single day in the life of 7 children from all over the globe. I loved that the book is about REAL children and their families. The children are introduced by both their names in their native language and in English. Also, we get to see what they eat, wear to school, what type of house they live in and their family size. This gives an opportunity for both a mirror and a window providing children the chance to not only relate to some children in the book but see how children live differently in other countries.
I think that this book gives great ideas for a class book. That way students can see how they are all similar or different and celebrate both aspects.
