In the second installment of the Song of the Lioness series, I enjoyed the heightened sense of adventure and suspense, as Alanna grows into a new stage of her life.
What I enjoyed most about In the Hand of the Goddess is the excellent maturation of Alanna's character. She deals with things that are new to her, and that are appropriate for her age, like romance and dresses. I love how Alanna struggles with these two ide ...more
