I had some trouble getting into this one. I felt it was not as good as the first one. But I thought it did get better when characters from the first book joined the story. I can't really pin point why it was not as good. I just felt annoyed at times with Yelena. Is there anything she can't do? I do think it was a somewhat set up for the next book. Which I do look forward to reading.

I liked this book a lot- I felt like Maria Snyder did an excellent job continuing the character development and while it wasn't Poison Study, it was a very good sequel.
