Robin DiAngelo is a white woman writing about racism. I was a white woman reading a white woman talk about racism. Right out of the gate, I'm thinking "Wait, is she supposed to be talking about this? Is it okay that I'm looking to her as an authority on this topic?"  DiAngelo tackles it all head on. Filled with essential tools to combat white supremacy and to recognize it in our everyday actions/environment. Do not be so arrogant to believe that you do not need to read this.
Racism hurts (even kills) people of color 24-7. Interrupting it is more important than my feelings, ego, or self-image.
