I first read this book when I was in high school, back when dinosaurs walked the earth, people still thought digital watches were a pretty cool idea, and mobile phones were the size of a suitcase.

I enjoyed it at least as much this time. Humor is subjective, and I still find it bloody hilarious! If you don't enjoy Monty Python-esque British humor it may not be your cup of Earl Grey, but it still works for me! Over all entertaining read. I really liked Adams style of writing. Concise and to the point but still a vivid image and over all story line.

I was really entertained by some of the dialogue in the book, especially Ford's and Zaphod (sp?, sorry the book isn't handy). They definately had a few different ways at looking at things.

I do wish that this book, maybe the whole trilogy was in one book. It just seemed really short. I read it in about 3 hours. So if you are looking for a quick fun read, I wo
