I really liked this one. It was a bit more of a straight up police procedural, which is fine for me. I always love "the gang" working together at Eve & Roarke's home and there was a lot of that in this one. I really can't believe I'm 15 books into this series. Most other series I'm ready to give up on the main characters long before book 15 but everyone here is still going strong.

Another good one! This is such h a great cast of characters. And watching Eve show her emotions always gets to me. She was emotional in here LOL the cluelessness and shock over Mavis saying she was pregnant was endearing. And Roarke had the same reaction 😁 my heart hurt for the team with all the injuries sustained and naturally Eve took all that on herself.
The murders and mystery were good. That twist at the end surprised me.

I really love this series. I love Susan Eriksen narrating it even more.This whole concept of the Purity Seekers was eerie and so fitting even for today. It was interesting. People thinking that they have the right of it and go out and make their own justice.Eve's sense of right and wrong was really pushed to her limit here. I know how hard the case must have been.
