What Members Thought

Not sure why my stars have stopped working, but I gave this one 3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4. The two new narrators did a really good job.
Overall, this book went a different direction than I thought it would.
1. No Olivia. She did not make one appearance.
2. The new problems for Sam and Grace were not what I thought they would be.
3. I really like Cole's storyline. I thought it was nice to have a nemesis for Sam.

I didn't feel as involved in this story as I expected to be. It didn't completely pull me in until the end. I was very happy to be reading more of Grace and Sam's story, but I didn't have a tough time putting it down at night. On the other hand, I was always happy to pick it up again when I had a bit of reading time. Okay, I really did like this book. BUT after Shiver I was just DONE with Grace/Sam. Most of their passages were boring. I was, however, VERY intrigued by the Isabel/Cole passages. They just seem to be more interesting characters, more complex, more passionate and angsty. I hope we get more of them in the next book.

I really liked this book. I get nervous when a second book in a series comes out, but this one was just as good as the first one. I really enjoyed the introduction of Cole into the picture. I liked getting the story from more views. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one.
