Charlotte and Jamie
This was an interesting remake of Holmes and Watson. Charlotte was a little hard for me to warm up to but after reading the epilogue, I liked her more. Jamie was Great. I'll check out more of this series. ...more

I really enjoyed this book. Basically you’ve got a female modern high school student Sherlock Holmes and her teenage male (lovable dummy) of a sidekick in Watson. Ok, Watson isn’t dumb, he’s just dumb enough to play the foil to Holmes.
The gender dynamics were fun, the mystery was extra and completely unbelievable, but that’s part of the fun.

Cute book. Not thought provoking or realistic at all (like most Holmes novels), but I dug the concept. I'd probably read the second one.
