Attempts to dive deeper into the dystopian world of Tally Youngblood, but it, unfortunately, stumbles over its own premise, weighed down by frustrating dialogue, tired love triangles, and a sense of wasted potential.

After reading Uglies I really could not wait to read Pretties and I did not dissappoint me. The book suprised me and that is always a good thing. Immediately ordered Specials and just can't wait to know what happened to Tally!

Another good book. Westerfeld does a good job of putting you into the world of the Specials (even if some of the "Special speak" gets annoying). Tally is likable and someone I like rooting for. 3 1/2 stars
