What Members Thought

This is the third book in the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series. I enjoyed this nearly as much the previous two, but it seemed to have a lot of internal monologue by the characters that really slowed things down. There also didn't seem to be as many cases solved as compared to the previous two books. This is a cozy mystery, but even so I would have liked a bit more action. And I really missed Mr. J.L.B. These are light, pleasant books. The characters are enjoyable and entertaining, so I'm forgiving of the lack of much mystery or detective work in this installment in this series. As always, the reader for the audiobook did a fine job with the narration and I was glad to spend a few hours with these characters.

(#3 in the #1 Ladies Detective Agency Series)- The reason I like these books so much is 1) there is always a lesson 2) I enjoy the setting being Botswana.
