I seem to recall I liked the other Teahouse books better. She’s now married to the wrong guy! I liked the quiet religious dude better. This one is 15 years older and keeps secrets. Not a fav of mine. And the bodies don’t appear until the book is almost done. I prefer my cozies with early onset bodies. This was almost too dull to fully enjoy.
Finally deciding on a wedding present for each other, Aurora (Roe) Teagarden and Martin Bartell exchanged gifts. Knowing Roe's fascination with true crimes, he gave her a home that had been the site of 3 missing persons almost 6 years ago. Aurora Teagarden has married her rich businessman husband and moved into a lovely house a mile out of town. She looks into the mystery of the disappearance of the home's previous owners because she really doesn't know what to do with herself. She also is distracted by the lack of complete honesty in her new husband.
