This was enjoyable enough to read, and I did care about the characters. But overall, the book was just a bit depressing. Nothing very good seemed to happen to any of the characters. I was waiting for the mothers to have some life-changing wisdom to impart to their daughters because of their experiences, but that really never happened. Maybe a touch at the end, but I was hoping for more. I definitely don't regret reading this, since I'm sure I'll think about this book later on in regards to the r
