This is the first book that I have struggled to sink into. The language was so dense and the fact that every line matters makes is hard to happily read the novel. However, this book is intence and provocative. Don't we all venture into the darkness? Haven't we all experienced the facination of an abomination? What's savage? What's civilised? Do we live in the wilderness or does the wilderness live inside us? Do the restraints we all have restrict our freedom and only make us pleasant for society

The writing is almost seductive, salacious in its beauty. Delicate, graceful, gossamer.
