I found Emma to be a very entertaining read due to all the colourful characters in the story. I enjoyed the book a great deal. As with any Classic novel, I found it to be a very quick read once you get used to the language. :0) Jane Austen is a wonderful story teller and really has a gift for sucking you into her world. I always feel like I know all her characters personally.

I read Pride and Prejudice when I was in high school, and I'm sorry to say that I didn't like it much. I felt like it was a lot of boring conversation with nothing much ever happening. As a result of this, I never read any more of Jane Austen's books. When I joined GoodReads, I could see that many, many people have read and loved her books - many people who have read and loved LOTS of the same books that I have.
