I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much as the first in the series. Beddor spent too much time developing the two villains in this story, who are both very horrible. I didn't enjoy spending time with them and all their henchmen - especially the scenes of violence which served to show the complete evilness of these villains. I get it. They're evil. They enjoy the suffering of others. I wish Beddor would have spent more time developing the characters of his heroes.

So much better than the first! Lots of character development and great twists. Highly recommended, although you HAVE to read the first one in order to get the best understanding of it...
