What Members Thought
This book is especially near and dear to my heart. I don't suppose there are too many readers who are not already familiar with it. I wrote a blog post on Huck Finn in 2011 http://lineaday.blogspot.com/2011/01/... due to the decision to put out a new edition with all instances of "the N-word" omitted. The be-all and end-all of American Lit. Period. I reread it every couple of years to renew my faith in literature (and in Twain, for whom I have a special bond).
Huckleberry Finn is my favorite of Twain's characters. He's just so much fun.
