What Members Thought
While some may tout Tom Sawyer and His Friends, Huck Finn remains my pick. I loved it, still lvoe it and need to revisit it soon. Yes, it's one of those books they pick on and want to ban -- makes no sense to me when for the time, it hits notes of change which was needed then and has slowly been taking place since -- well, there, I just said why they pick on it -- I'll take Huck and leave them to themselves.

I'm certain I read a young readers edition and in the 1960's the full text. Some day I'd like to sail the Mississippi not by raft, but on the River Queen.
