"Last night I dreamt I was at Manderley again" is my new tagline. I can see Manderley in my mind's eye, the sweeping ocean views, a stately mansion, a lifestyle that only exists in novels. I can imagine running my hands through the first Mrs. De Winter's wardrobe, running my fingers through those rich velvets and brocades, or dining on snowy white tablecloths. The obscene extravagance is brilliantly conjured up and countered with the dark and twisted story lurking underneath.
