Timeless and amazing!!!

Orwell's 1984 is one of those classics that falls in the yes, you have to read it, but no you don’t have to enjoy it collective.
In school, it was required reading and at the time, I rated 1984 very highly. However, with several decades under my laden lids, it’s still a good book, but I have downgraded my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. Let me be clear, Orwell’s book is well written and although disturbing, even on a second read, it should be added to everyone’s requisite reading list.

This book reminds me of today’s media outlets, cable news, internet, the printed word. Everything seems out of line, contradictory, and frivolous. Keep us divided keep us defeated.
