I don't remember where I read about this book before adding it to Libby. If you plan to read it, I definitely recommend the audiobook since it is narrated beautifully by the author. She has a wonderfully melodious voice, and I was transfixed by it. The hard part for me was imagining the poor rabbits, pheasants and doves that are meticulously described in their terror and in their destruction by the author of Mabel, the hawk.
