I am seriously kicking myself for not picking up this book sooner!

It was so great to back with Elena and Raphael. I have enjoyed learning about others in the series and I am so desperate to read Venom, Illium and now Aodhan's stories, but there is nothing quite like being with the couple that started this whole series off.

Short review:

My favorite vampire Hunter Elena and Archangel Raphael are back. This book was really great, it had banter, wicked battle scenes, some weird/mysterious new abilities emerging in the Cadre and some romantic moments between our main couple.

This book flat out ROCKS!. It's fast paced, a bit darker than what we've read in the past books and I loved every minute of it. Elena and Raphael's relationship is very strong and their devotion to each other makes this series one of my favorite. Elena is her sassy self and keeps Raphael in line for the most part. He is an archangel after all and his power is getting stronger and stronger.
