Divergent has blown me away and surpassed every expectation I had for this book!!! Wow and wow... I read this book in one sitting, it pulled me in right away and never let me go. Totally worth a Saturday on the couch with my puppy and my phone off!! This book was incredible, the writing was great so I read it with ease! The heroine, Tris is unlike any I have come across so far and was inspiring and relatable in the best ways, and Four was an amazing character. The absence of a "love triangle" ha

I was getting so bored of romances and in need of a genre shift. Divergent is anything but boring! I was sucked into the story right away, and immediately invested in each character. Excitement and intrigue are on every page. In fact, the author is so descriptive that it gave me anxiety just reading half of it! My favorite parts were anything involving "Four." The angst he creates makes it all worth reading! The story ends with a segue into the next book, but I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger tho

I'm sure listening to the audio helped with liking the story better. I only dread the possibility that I won't like book two, as I've read that it doesn't focus on as much action as this one did.

Another political manipulation!! Divergent,is ok, its not as compelling and interesting as i was hoping. Romance is cute, but didn't really fascinate me.
