Not even sure of the actual rating on this one. I can see where people were negative about it. The main characters, Phury and Cormia were more frustrating than fun to read about. Actually Cormia wasn’t bad because she was just stuck in an impossible situation. Phury !!!! INSERT GIF here! Too lazy to go get one..haha But the rest of the series got moved along and I really liked the second half of the book. Well I had already heard that Phury's story was a bit of the runt of the group. It wasn't as fantastic as some but there was a great deal of awesome going on in this book, even if it was primarily with the other stories. I won't go into a huge tangent on this one. It was definitely the beginning of some crazy mess for the Brotherhood and I'm nervous to see how this continues to play out!!! This book was about Phury (inPhuryating) lol.. and if I base my rating on his story, I'd give it 3 stars (less than V because his other half is super bright and single minded, which I loved... even though I expected more from V's story!)

BUT , I can count at least 3 times where my heart melted and my throat tightened and tears almost came out of my eyes!!

I was so excited when I got to Phury's book.

I had really high expectations but I’m saddened to say that I was disappointed. Instead of feeling like a romance, it seemed more in tuned to his past and current drug addiction. I felt like there wasn’t enough time dedicated in the story to Phury and Cormia (and its already been established that I adore Cormia)
