I really enjoyed all 3 books in the series but this third book really grabbed a piece of my heart. It's mainly in Caleb's POV (a few with Noah and Olivia) and I just love how we FINALLY see his thoughts while the same events unfolded in the previous books. Caleb is not only schmexy and hot, he is so sentimental and THOUGHTFUL! I love that fact! Too many alpha male heroes that only know how to fuck and be aggressive so Caleb is a real breath of fresh air!! You can REALLY REALLY tell that he absolutely loves the heck out of Olivia and will do ANYTHING for her!

Olivia is a piece of art. You have to know how to interpret her, how to see the beauty under the harsh lines of her personality.

She has the kind of love that can stain your soul, make you beg not to have one, just to escape the spell she's put you under. I''ve tried to break myself of her over and over, but it's pointless. I've got more of her in my veins than blood.

Awwww!! See what I mean??!! How could anyone not fall in love with him? His feelings for Olivia are so raw, so passionate, it's simply beautiful! Both of them are very well matched, in wit, looks, and they complement each other PERFECTLY. Olivia is a bit stuffy and only Caleb knows how to bring out her soft side. If you haven't read this series yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!! It's a really angsty rollarcoaster, but it's well worth the ride! Tarryn Fisher is really gifted with her words and although I love like 90% of the NA books out there, she is one of the few authors that I would recommend on the top of my head because her words are that EPIC! ...more

What an amazing book!! What an amazing series!! What amazing characters!! What amazing writing!!
This book was everything I wanted and so much more. I thought books one and two were great, but this was beyond amazing. Reading this book was the equivalent to ripping my heart out, slamming it into the ground, then placing the pieces in a blender. I am crushed, exhausted, and emotional, but all in a good way. Holy Shazam! Shocked – wowed – speechless!! I can’t even put into words the feelings and emotions I experienced while reading this the last and final book in the “Love Me With Lies” series. None would come close to doing it justice. For a series I started reading with skepticism, Tarryn Fisher totally nullified those feelings by the end of the first chapter of The Opportunist and has kept the momentum going full-speed ahead thereafter through Dirty Red, and here she’s miraculously outdone hersel ...more

Gitte: So Jenny, do you remember those two days, back in May 2012, when we read The Opportunist? We were going crazy with emotion overload, crying like babies on the phone to each other. All the while, coming up with one conspiracy theory after the other, wondering what the hell we just read, gushing over and loving Caleb who stole our hearts. Oh and hating Olivia once or twice along the way. And don’t even get us started on Leah!! It was a mind-fuck, no doubt with characters we loved to hate.

I am totally shocked how involved I was in the story. It really moved me to tears. This is not a typical love story. It never was. There are real consequences of destructive behavior, and sometimes when we are young we waste alot of effort and time and things tend to come back to haunt you. You really understand how fear , and misunderstandings and miscommunication can really drive people apart and the real consequences of going after something. This was a great conclusion to the series. This series and especially this book had me all over the place. I was happy, I was sad, I was hopefully, I was thoughtful, I can go on and on and on but the main feeling that was always there was love.

Final goodbyes are hard, letting go is hard, this story was hard to read but what was easy was how Tarryn Fisher weaves her magic into your heart and made you love these imperfect flawed broken people as if they were your own no matter the lies, deceit, pain and angst they put you through no matter the mistakes they made all in the name of love.
