Much like the haunted town of Red Fox, this book is filled with chills, laughs, intrigue and suspense!
Now that the events of Darkhouse have been aired, the "Experiment In Terror" web-series has become a smash hit! Well...maybe not quite a hit, but at least it hasn't been canceled...yet! Now Dex is taking Perry to the haunted Indian reservation of Red Fox to investigate the mysterious occurrences there. Animals have been seen behaving in bizarre ways. "The truth is in the fire."
In this second part of the enticing Experiment in Terror series Dex and Perry continue the adventure of their "ghost hunting" internet show by visiting the town of Red Fox in New Mexico. There they try to help the Navajo couple Will and Sarah who's desolate farm is haunted by forces unknown.
"Ghosts don't harm or maim people. They just scare. Skinwalkers...they kill. I think you are all in real dange...more

First and foremost this book had me at the name, Red Fox . I mean how could I not love a book with my name for the title?!
The famous duo are back together for the making of their second video blog series. They leave the Pacific Northwest for the heat of New Mexico. They are invited to film the 'evil' thing that is tormenting a local farmer.
Perry's affinity for danger following her everywhere she goes does not disappoint in this book.

The first episode of Experiment in Terror was not a complete failure, but not a success either. The show has not been canned... yet. Dex is contacted by an old "friend" to ask him to head over to a ranch and investigate the activity going on there. He accepts and so Perry and Dex head over to Red Fox, New Mexico to se ...more

July 2014: Reread with Renee. This is one of my favorite books in the series!
-----
I don't have time to review when I have so many more of these books to read! SO FREAKING GOOD. I love Perry, and I adore Dex. There's no other way to describe this series: I'm either embarrassing myself by laughing hysterically out loud (see the quotes in my comments), or I'm freaked out and chewing my fingernails. This book has my anxiety skyrocketing (but then solves the problem in the next breathe). Absolutely l ...more

Oh God, Great Spirit, whatever, I thought, please don't let this turn into a naked old man expedition.
I don't know if I have enough reserve of snark to keep up with these two.
Red Fox kicks off a month after the events of Darkhouse, Perry's keeping an additional secret from her family as she heads off to the town of Red Fox, New Mexico with Declan to tackle the monster of the week: Skinwalkers. Or in non-Navajo parlance, shape-shifters.

Red Fox is the continuation of the Experiment in Terror series. I thought it was good. It wasn’t scary or anything but it definitely kept me interested but nothing to the point where I felt like I was completely hooked. This series truly seems like tv series, I can envision it while I’m reading.
I am definitely still a Perry fan and I worry about her falling for Dex, especially since he has a girlfriend. As for Dex, I’m still on the fence with him. I don’t quite see the allure. (view spoiler) ...more

Red Fox brings us to New Mexico, where our ghosthunting duo find themselves after an old friend of Dex contacts him to check out some odd events in the small Navajo town. Perry continues to question her decision to sign up for this show, especially since things didn't exactly turn out as planned (view spoiler) . In addition to that, she still doesn't know what to make out of

Woohoo! I'm so glad I finally got around to reading
Red Fox
! Since I tend to read in the dark and I'm such a scaredy cat, it sure took a while.
The first book was pretty good but everyone said the series gets better and I can definitely see that! The setting of this book was very different from the first and was creepier, but it didn't make my blood freeze or anything, thank goodness. I guessed early on who/what was responsible but that didn't spoil the story for me since everyone was hiding ...more

I've been a bad bad girl. You see, I'm supposed to be reading the whole Experiment in Terror series, as a buddy read. The first book, I did pretty good. But since, I keep hearing over and over about how each book only gets better, and if that is the case I may be in big trouble. We started reading Red Fox on Friday, it's Sunday, and I finished last night.

So to my Smut-ateers, I'm really sorry,...

forgive me?? But believe me you are in for such a treat. And if everyone is right about them getting ...more

A huge 5 stars for this book!!! I loved Darkhouse but Red Fox is even better. This book was blow your mind, fantastic. Really, I didn't expect to love this series as much as I do. I found myself uncontrollable, reading into the middle of the night, without any willpower to turn off my light until I knew who Perry and Dex could trust, and how they were going to make it out of Red Fox alive.

It is getting BETTER ....
I didn't know I would love horror so much but this series proves me wrong!
I love Perry so much and Dex is much better in this book.
I think I would end up doing nothing but read this whole series....

On. To the next.

I liked this book much better than the first one. It was a faster read, and I found it rather humorous. I'm still not entirely connected to Dex and Perry, but I'm getting there. Though we get more insight into Dex, I'm still trying to figure him out. I like the chemistry between Dex and Perry. Looking forward to continuing with the series.

As I suspected this series is gonna be one of my favorites! Perry and Dex are amazing in keeping us on the edge of our seats with whether or not they will get together, that along with the hell is going on with Dex, and the mystery of solving what is going on in Red Fox I couldn't put it down.
