First and foremost this book had me at the name, Red Fox . I mean how could I not love a book with my name for the title?!

The famous duo are back together for the making of their second video blog series. They leave the Pacific Northwest for the heat of New Mexico. They are invited to film the 'evil' thing that is tormenting a local farmer.

Perry's affinity for danger following her everywhere she goes does not disappoint in this book.

I don't have time to review when I have so many more of these books to read! SO FREAKING GOOD. I love Perry, and I adore Dex. I don't know if I have enough reserve of snark to keep up with these two.

Red Fox kicks off a month after the events of Darkhouse, Perry's keeping an additional secret from her family as she heads off to the town of Red Fox, New Mexico with Declan to tackle the monster of the week: Skinwalkers. Or in non-Navajo parlance, shape-shifters.

Red Fox is the continuation of the Experiment in Terror series. I thought it was good. It wasn’t scary or anything but it definitely kept me interested but nothing to the point where I felt like I was completely hooked. This series truly seems like tv series, I can envision it while I’m reading.

I am definitely still a Perry fan and I worry about her falling for Dex, especially since he has a girlfriend. As for Dex, I’m still on the fence with him. I don’t quite see the allure. (view spoiler) ...more

Red Fox brings us to New Mexico, where our ghosthunting duo find themselves after an old friend of Dex contacts him to check out some odd events in the small Navajo town. Perry continues to question her decision to sign up for this show, especially since things didn't exactly turn out as planned (view spoiler). Dex's friend, Maximus, is apparently a "ghost-mediator" who connects people with their dead loved ones for a living. His services were called by a Navajo man, turned Christian, who lived with his blind wife on a farm right off the town of Red Fox. Strange things have been happening in his property lately, like rocks being thrown at their windows and animals being gutted. Maximus did not sense "ghosts" though, hence, calling on Dex for assistance.

I thought this was a great sequel to this series. True to the word of other reviewers who promised that each book is better than the last, I certainly found this more engaging than the first. I enjoyed how Perry is starting to come out of her shell and becoming bolder with her words and actions. I mean, I'd be shy too if I was in the presence of this hot, mysterious dude all the time. Dex remains to be an unreadable character for me at this point, and that's part of his allure. I KNOW that there is more to Dex than what he seems and I just can't wait to get to the bottom of his secrets. Perry, on the other hand, is also intriguing me more and more based on what other characters in the book are saying about her.

There was a lot of mystery and a good amount of hints of romance in this book. I had several theories on who the bad guys were and ha! Except for one, I got all of them wrong. I also thought that this was an easier read for me since it hovered more on the paranormal than the supernatural. Ghosts and spirits easily freak me out!

I'm pretty anxious about the next installment in the series. I was half-expecting Dex to shrug off what happened between him and Perry but he was quite sweet about it, making me fall in love with him more. I'm worried for my heart and for Perry's! Gah!

Woohoo! I'm so glad I finally got around to reading Red Fox ! Since I tend to read in the dark and I'm such a scaredy cat, it sure took a while.

The first book was pretty good but everyone said the series gets better and I can definitely see that! The setting of this book was very different from the first and was creepier, but it didn't make my blood freeze or anything, thank goodness. I guessed early on who/what was responsible but that didn't spoil the story for me since everyone was hiding ...more

I've been a bad bad girl. You see, I'm supposed to be reading the whole Experiment in Terror series, as a buddy read. The first book, I did pretty good. But since, I keep hearing over and over about how each book only gets better, and if that is the case I may be in big trouble. We started reading Red Fox on Friday, it's Sunday, and I finished last night.

A huge 5 stars for this book!!! I loved Darkhouse but Red Fox is even better. This book was blow your mind, fantastic. Really, I didn't expect to love this series as much as I do. I found myself uncontrollable, reading into the middle of the night, without any willpower to turn off my light until I knew who Perry and Dex could trust, and how they were going to make it out of Red Fox alive.

I liked this book much better than the first one. It was a faster read, and I found it rather humorous. I'm still not entirely connected to Dex and Perry, but I'm getting there.
