First and foremost this book had me at the name, Red Fox . I mean how could I not love a book with my name for the title?!

The famous duo are back together for the making of their second video blog series. They leave the Pacific Northwest for the heat of New Mexico. They are invited to film the 'evil' thing that is tormenting a local farmer.

Perry's affinity for danger following her everywhere she goes does not disappoint in this book.
”But what can I say? I was an idiot. You saved me. That’s

Oh God, Great Spirit, whatever, I thought, please don't let this turn into a naked old man expedition.

I don't know if I have enough reserve of snark to keep up with these two.

Red Fox kicks off a month after the events of Darkhouse, Perry's keeping an additional secret from her family as she heads off to the town of Red Fox, New Mexico with Declan to tackle the monster of the week: Skinwalkers. Or in non-Navajo parlance, shape-shifters.

Overall, this had a campier feel than the firs

his book had my holding on to the edge of my seat. I LOVE the myth and storytelling involved in this book. Red Fox takes place in the deserts of New Mexico. This book is also our first glimpse at the mysterious Maximus (Friend or Foe?)

As much as the frights of poltergeist qualities, dangerous animals and overall distrusting hosts what keeps me coming back is the evolution of Dex and Perry’s relationship.

“It’s our song,” he said. He held out his hand. I took it, as if in slow motion, and let him

Red Fox is the continuation of the Experiment in Terror series. I thought it was good. It wasn’t scary or anything but it definitely kept me interested but nothing to the point where I felt like I was completely hooked. This series truly seems like tv series, I can envision it while I’m reading.

I am definitely still a Perry fan and I worry about her falling for Dex, especially since he has a girlfriend. As for Dex, I’m still on the fence with him. I don’t quite see the allure. (view spoiler)

Wow Karina...that was some mind blowing ...intense stuff!! I enjoyed the Dark House, but held off of reading this book since I am not all that into paranormal - ghostly - reads. Now I think I am SUNK and HAVE to keep going with this series.

Perry is out if this world and for the most part not all there. She is clumsy and never knows when to say the right thing or when to keep her thoughts to herself. Dex is mysterious and quite, but we got to learn a little more about him and his

Red Fox brings us to New Mexico, where our ghosthunting duo find themselves after an old friend of Dex contacts him to check out some odd events in the small Navajo town. Perry continues to question her decision to sign up for this show, especially since things didn't exactly turn out as planned (view spoiler). In addition to that, she still doesn't know what to make out of ...more

I've been a bad bad girl. You see, I'm supposed to be reading the whole Experiment in Terror series, as a buddy read. The first book, I did pretty good. But since, I keep hearing over and over about how each book only gets better, and if that is the case I may be in big trouble. We started reading Red Fox on Friday, it's Sunday, and I finished last night.

So to my Smut-ateers, I'm really sorry,...

forgive me?? But believe me you are in for such a treat. And if everyone is right about them getting

Wow this book creeped me out!! This book follows Perry & Dex right after their first adventure. I really enjoyed catching up with Perry as she continues to wonder if doing the show with Dex was the right decision. She continues to have vivid nightmares that have a connection to their next destination. We see more of an internal struggle with Perry's feeling towards Dex and his mysterious ways as well as her link to the supernatural. There is major sexual tension between the two as they grow clos ...more

A huge 5 stars for this book!!! I loved Darkhouse but Red Fox is even better. This book was blow your mind, fantastic. Really, I didn't expect to love this series as much as I do. I found myself uncontrollable, reading into the middle of the night, without any willpower to turn off my light until I knew who Perry and Dex could trust, and how they were going to make it out of Red Fox alive.
There were several reasons I adored this book, moreso than Darkhouse. Firstly, it was supernatural, frighte

Great second story to the series! This one was more mystery and suspence. Still loved it and this series is growing to be one of my favorites. We get a little more backstory on Dex and its sad and explains him a little more. Still love that Perry is strong and you see her get a better understanding for her feelings of Dex. Great read and recommened!

As I suspected this series is gonna be one of my favorites! Perry and Dex are amazing in keeping us on the edge of our seats with whether or not they will get together, that along with the hell is going on with Dex, and the mystery of solving what is going on in Red Fox I couldn't put it down. ...more
