"So many secrets, so many blind eyes."
Another fabulous installment from Karina Halle! Once again, I have to say this author is just brilliant. I have such high respect for the way she puts words on to paper. The way she is able to bring the words to life, and paint a picture with them is just breathtaking! Right from page one I was hooked with this description of a fire:
"The parched air swarmed furiously with sky-seeking embers that spanned the spectrum of orange and yellow. They emerged from f ...more

Red Fox, New Mexico is the setting for Episode two in the EIT series. “Do you think you’re special, Perry?” he asked seriously.
I winced. “A little bit. Maybe more in the Special Olympics kind of way.”
Perry and Dex travel down to Red Fox to investigate a possible poltergeist - but things are not what they seem in the native town. Although strange occurrences have plagued the Lancaster family for awhile - once Perry and Dex arrive things being to escalate. This Experiment in Terror is not limited to rock showers, animals awry, a sweat ceremony, and a ginger from Dex ...more

Mini review. I love Perry and Dex and Red Fox is definitely a step up for me from Darkhouse. It was entertaining from the get go and never let up!
Perry sets off with Dex on their first assignment after getting the okay to move on with the show. They head off to New Mexico to help a Navajo couple who is being haunted by something.
The major difference between this and Darkhouse is that with the world building done we get Perry and Dex full time. I love Perry’s character. She has some seriously la ...more

Wow this book creeped me out!! This book follows Perry & Dex right after their first adventure. I really enjoyed catching up with Perry as she continues to wonder if doing the show with Dex was the right decision. She continues to have vivid nightmares that have a connection to their next destination. We see more of an internal struggle with Perry's feeling towards Dex and his mysterious ways as well as her link to the supernatural. There is major sexual tension between the two as they grow clos

Great second story to the series! This one was more mystery and suspence. Still loved it and this series is growing to be one of my favorites. We get a little more backstory on Dex and its sad and explains him a little more. Still love that Perry is strong and you see her get a better understanding for her feelings of Dex. Great read and recommened!

I will admit as much as I loved Darkhouse, Red Fox was my favorite of all the books thus far. The chemistry between Dex and Perry was sizzling and the duo were finally getting that witty banter most characters wish they could pull off. I love shapeshifters and love triangles (well most of the time) add some danger and you've got yourself and excellent action pack thrill seeking adventure!

My God!! This was one helluva ride. I was already obsessed with this series...but damn. I am...I dunno what to call it now. Each book gets better and better. Dex and Perry might be my new favorite pair/duo/couple EVER!!!!!!! Fantastic!!! #TeamDerry
