HOLY WOW! This book just blew me away! I am so in love with it. But The Siren is not for everyone. If you like morals and happy endings, stay far away. There is some very dark subject matter. The story is a book within a book, and told beautifully. I really did not know what direction the book was going to go from one chapter to the next, and I loved that. CLEVER WRITING.

I liked this. It wasn't a fast paced, throw me on the floor and make me lick your shoe before you ride me like there is no tomorrow, kind of lust. It was a perfect blend of story telling, mistakes, healing, heart ache, and brutality. It didn't, however, reach out and grab me, holding me on the edge of my seat. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised with the way the words slowly wrapped around my mind and captivated me. CLEVER!
