Wow! I’m so glad I’ve decided to read some classics this year. This may have been the best one I’ve read so far. The prose is beautiful and the suspense was perfect. I can’t wait to watch the Netflix movie and see what they’ve done with the story. There are definitely some aspects of the story that would be taboo today. This is a must read for sure.
